no it's not fun lol. Sucks really being a teller. the only good part is you get to find cool money all the time. Bad part is you can't afford it all cause you don't get paid squat! That being said I'm looking at a position in a downtown bank that should pay a lot more and not be on the teller side. Now that should be fun! Looking to be an analyst

I talked to some of the local bank tellers and they said the same thing, the job sucks and the pay sucks worse. I guess that explains all the fake smiles...

 

haha yep. and now they make you involve sales with everything so it's like retail only you don't get paid as much and do more work. I made more then twice as much as a manager at radio shack doing 1/2 the work. I also made almost as much as a sales associate doing about 1/4 of the work.
