Just curious why CT doesn't have a counterfeit forum to post under. Especially when listings from ebay seem to be popping up more on ct. It could be a valuable resource with people explaining the reason why the coin is fake.

Search the threads for "counterfeit" and you will find an abundance of threads on the subject.

Probably just too much effort, thought I agree with you that it would be a valuable resource to have.

I agree, advanced search of previous posts is a must. Maybe it's my desire for simplicity (which I know will be different from someone else) to have things organized into sections.

I suppose a complete title for my thread would have been longer and not as eye catching as the original.

    :u*meY: too funny mrbrklyn.

richarrb, since most counterfeit eBay listings are removed, it would be very hard to keep track of older posts since there is no longer a record of them.

As it is right now, if you use the Page Down key when visiting this forum, you have to hit it 6 times just to see all the various sections we have as it is. That's 6 pages of different sections.

Now imagine what it would be like if we had separate, individual sections for all of the various subjects that members suggested that we have. And inevitably every single suggestion is touted as making the forum easier to navigate, or find things.

In the eight years that I have been here, there have been well over 200 separate sections that various members have suggested we institute - just to make things easier.

You say you think simpler is better - well, it wouldn't be simpler. You would need to use the search function just to find the section you wanted to find. People would even stop coming to the forum and posting here because they would have to scroll through 60 different pages just to find the section they wanted to post in.

That's pretty much why it forum is set up the way it is now.
