This is off topic but what are the chances in getting a silver quarter by roll searching Oo?

3-4 weeks ago, i was buying a coffee and when i got my change, the person behind the counter cracked open a new roll....and i got 7 silver quarters out of it. (I bought the entire roll once i saw silver)

They are still out there. I find silver washingtons and roosies every once in a while

hmm i think i will try and search for quarters soon then. I know roosies/mercury you can still get. I usually get 1-4 while roll searching a box. :)

I wouldn't bother roll searching for silver quarters.

Of all the people who have read this thread and were willing to post, one individual owns a 37S in 63. Interesting.

I've been working on a PCGS set of these trying to be all 65 and up. Pretty much done from 40 on but no 37s yet. Now I'll be on the lookout for it for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

By my search records this past year I am saying about 10,000 to 1 or even higher. I have not found a SINGLE Silver quarter in all the rolls I searched in the past 10 months ! I finally switched almost exclusively to Cents for awhile. It's just more interesting when you get skunked box after box.
