hey guys, i need some help with this one, as i don't have a 19th century krause. i picked this up for 25¢. i believe the "B" on the reverse is for rouen. however, i can't find anything on the anchor and ribbon (??) on the obverse. i read that they have meaning too, but i can't find what specifically. can someone help me? also, what is the mintage for this coin? thanks! :D

The "B" Mintmark is for Rouen.

The Anchor is the engravers mark ( Herbert Desire Barre )

I believe what you describe as a ribbon is the date Privy mark for Rouen and is a Vase.

    Mintage is 11,637.000 Fine $2.00 VF $6.00.

I`ve just sent a whole bucket full of them with various dates to the smelters as copper prices are very high.

thank you for the info! i knew they were common coins, but i wasn't sure on the mintage. and i'll be sure not to call the vase a ribbon again.

Really good when you can turn a quarter into 2 or 3 bucks!
