Nice find! Welcome to CT. Do did you have a teller that held these for you or did you just happen in when those were there?
No they werent holding them for me i was just running to the bank to pick up money for the store where i work. I also got 50 consecutive 1957b $1 silver certs. I was guessing someone went and traded there collection in because of hard times. idk though
Seriously nice find, are all those note uncirculated or do they have some fold? Either way they look very nice!!!
I know it isn't a note... but... it seems to fit since many of the items posted here were produced by them. I couldn't even scan it all.
gotta luv that eagle!!!! what an amazing piece! you too steveintampa lol thats a cool star! not perfect centering, but nice and straight!... and its a star!
Nice pick up! ABNCo work is some of the finest. We have some ABNCo fans and threads here too: ABNCo Archive Auction Stock Certificate Specimensare American Banknote Company ABNCo Archive Series ABNCo Picked up a ABNC Print ...and plenty more if you fell like searching for them.
wow those are some sweet series of notes! Did you ask if they had more like it and get them all? I woulda loved to get those silver certs
Love the note!! Looks to be graded a bit high but who cares cause I just love that note. One day I'll have dozens I hope
TY And yes, what LITTLE I know about grading paper would suggest to me also that it's a bit high...then again, from what i've read, that's to be expected from RCGS. However, I'm quite pleased with the purchase for several reasons: 1) Its "eye appeal" is better than its grade, to me at least. The art, lettering, and such are quite legible and clear, no stains. To be sure, the physical condition is rough, but it LOOKS like what it is to me...so that's a bonus. 2) I could never afford the set in a high grade...so I KNEW I was stuck hoping to find low grade examples that were still attractive...something MORE difficult, at times, than finding high grade examples of coins/notes 3) The LCS didn't charge me anywhere near the grade. All in all, I'm REALLY excited about it, and that, after all, is what this hobby's about...for me, anyway.
I got these at work for face a couple days ago Don't know if it's anything special but a 1963A $50 Again dunno if it's anything special but a 1934A $20 amazing condition except for one little corner bend and some staining it appears since it's a bit dark A run of only 320,000 stars in the 2004 $20 And I am HOPING this is worth a little bit this is a run of only 64,000 notes!
