Found this error searching through $25.00 straps: Front of note: Back of note, where error is. Upper SN bleed through: I realize the picture isn't that great, but it's the best one I could get.

I experienced my first (2)straps this morning in under 2hrs.. I went through 200 $1 bills. This is the lowest serial I found (possible bookend?) 00592300 New York. I'm sure it's a spender but I will keep it until I find a lower serial #. I did however come across a stamp (see pic) "Track this Bill" www.wheresgeorge.com. First tracked in 07-2006. Then 9-2010 and 114 mi. later I received it. Pretty cool. Final detail: This bill has travelled 150 Miles in 4 Yrs, 114 Days, 23 Hrs, 44 Mins at an average of 0.10 Miles per day. It is now 147 Miles from its starting location. The spin on all of this is after I went through the straps I went back to the bank and asked for $20's. I had a smile on my face when I saw a star in the mix. Thanks for looking.
All...most but not quite a full ladder. Rough circulated condition and off-center (uneven margins) too. Keep looking. :thumb:
Cannot scan series 2006 five dollar bill w/ a cool red ink stamp reading "abolish the federal reserve" in a red circle about 3/4" in diameter w/ a red line through the middle of the circle. Rounded, my bill is stamped the same place as your $1.00 bill but the slogan is different.
Out of $800 in twos I surprised to find $310 in 1976 series some crisp and in sequence. Ill save those ones. Also found these stars
Nice find on that Minneapolis star note, books at 150 in ch cu, definatly has a premium in that condition!!!
while I was bagging groceries at the Martins grocery store I work at, I saw a customer hand a 1965 $50 bill to the cashier. I tried to tell the customer that the $50 bill was worth more than $50, but she insisted that it was only worth $50. Unfortunately, the store's policy makes it much harder to swap out a $50 bill for two twenties and a ten than it is to swap out a 1909s vdb penny if a customer were to inadvertantly use it for a zincoln. If I had a coinstar reciept for $50, I would have absolutely gone to that register that the customer who used the 1965 $50 bill for that 1965 $50 bill if I had had a $50 coinstar receipt, but alas I didn't. If I was able to get the 1965 $50 bill, I could have easily sold it on ebay and the money I would have gotten for it would have easily covered the 9.8% coinstar fee especially since the note was in really good condition for it's age.

I don't do straps. But on day I was at my bank and asked the teller if he had any unusual bank notes. He said he had some two dollar bills and he asked me how many would I want. The teller had a strap and I took them all. All Legal Tender 2 Dollar bills. Lou
