I have been very happy with the work of Todd of BluCC photos.

The prices are very competitive and the work is top quality, especially for coins in plastic slabs as he is able to get awesome shots of the coins through the plastic even when the plastic can sometimes be quite banged up.

Todd also sets up his gear at coins shows across the country so depending on how many coins you are looking to get imaged, and the time frame you're looking at, he may be coming to a show near you soon. This is great if you're concerned about shipping coins through the mail and/or being without your coins for awhile :)

Here's an example of an image he did for me yesterday at the Long Beach show. All I did with the raw images provided (which is what I paid for - he would have edited images too if I needed it done) was to crop and resize them. This coin is in an extremely banged up and gouged PCGS slab an as you can see with a sort of before and after shot, he was able to still get a virtually crystal clear image which I know I couldn't have done myself.

Todd also imaged all of the Indian Cents in my 1908-S IHC grading set and I'm very happy with how all of those came out. He also does photos for several dealers including The Penny Lady.

Check out the IHC images from my grading set here:

This is one of my favorite images from that set which i've cropped and resized down to fit on the forum. Before doing the resizing, the raw image of each side of the coin is about 2400x2400 in size so you can see your coins in extreme close up detail.

I second Mike/Illini's comments. I have been using Todd at bluccphotos.com for quite a while and absolutely love the photos he takes of my coins. My entire personal collection is photographed by Todd, and he takes all the photos of coins I post for sale on my website as well. In addition to doing an excellent job, he's very reasonable, has his own insurance, and has many options on format. I highly recommend you giving him a try.

The three people mentioned thus far, Mark Goodman, Jeremy Katz and Todd/BluCC, all do excellent work. You can't go wrong with any of them.
