Here's one I shot today. By far one of the hardest coins I have ever shot.

Thought you should know that there is another 1893/2 Dime in PCGS 58 coming up
at auction at Heritage - I believe for Coinfest in Conn in October... check it out.

I paid $95 to a dealer named Chris Young (a heck of a nice dude) @ FUN 2007. It's roughly XF, and I overpaid (happily).

 

its amazing thats only xf and its still hard to tell where the wear is.

I looked at that area with a 10X - and its a toning void;
the mark on the D of Dollar is a small tick.

My cousin has asked me to put together a nice mid range cost set of 1893 coins for
his about to be 17 yr old daughter.

I was lucky to have a duplicate Dime in AU 58 - and I just picked up a Quarter in 40:

 

Here's a lovely little half. Though it doesn't show in the photo, it has tons of cartwheel luster.

 

900Fine - You're right - that is a "lovely little half". Great toning and I
can only imagine all the cartwheel luster booming underneath.

Very nice looking coin - especially for a MS 63.
