Just arrived today from the lost Dutchman. I'm pretty sure it's the coolest thing in my collection now.
It's a Spanish 8 reales cut to a 4 reales then counterstamped Tortola for the British Virgin Islands to approve its use as a 4 shilling 1-1/2 pence. The host coin is late 1700's and counterstamped early 1800s.

Thanx man, I am starting to enjoy my junk bin searches. Something to look forward to every weekend and is a cheap way of enjoying coins.
Here are a couple of nice "budget friendly" pieces I picked up in last couple of days... I blew my weekly coin budget early in the week on a Bolivian 20C piece but I couldn't help myself from buying a little lagniappe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got a nice little hoard today (£70), Mainly Canada silver dollars but there was also a 1679 Charles II Scottish Sixpence in copper and a 2009 Kew 50 Pence, very low mintage. An exceptional Aussie 1916 Penny with full pearls around the crown. Lots of scrap silver too which should cover the cost of these coins. These shots were all taken before the coins needed preservation from PVC slime and grease.
