PCGS Expands Barcode to Maximize Efficiency

Have any of you guys seen this yet? I ran into this today while checking a cert:

    http://www.pcgs.com/barcode.html

I don't think this is old news, but I'm sure I'll hear about it if it is. ;)

I wonder when this will go into effect.

Hmmm, makes me wonder what they plan for those numbers set aside "for future use" ? Obviously they have something planned, just curious as to what it might be.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but what the heck? The old numbering system would allow up to 10 quadrillion coins to be certified. This was simply inadequate, so they had to multiply 10 quadrillion by ten thousand, (not even sure what to call the resulting figures). I should buy stock, since evidently they are planning on certifying every coin ever struck 100,000 times.

    Poor graders.....

Does it leave enough room for the SS# of the submitter?
