It's all about the Jefferson's - colorful album toning

Picked up a Jefferson album this week and was surprised with some nice toners. I thought I would share some examples with the class.
It's apparent to me that all of these toned within this album. The toning most likely was caused from improper storage or exposure to a reactive environment. I believe these range from questionable color to completely market acceptable. You be the judge. With my luck, if I sent them to PCGS, they would all come back as counterfeit.
Either way, they are gem beauties at the core, have big luster and tout some serious eye appeal.
Thanks for looking. I know Mr. Jefferson appreciates it.

Greg, I think they are all NT, because they were toned by years of storage in an album. It is environmental toning, which is intrinsically natural. Color-wise, I see nothing suspicious in any of them, and find them to be market acceptable in my humble opinion. I'd think they'd all slab, unlike some of the chemical, and blow-torch or electrical tone jobs by one of our colleagues who posts here. :) No matter what--they are beautiful, and possess that GRADUAL toning, where colors blend into each other, as opposed to the harsh bullseye toning achieved by some of the coin doctors. I love those pastels.

    Greg,

I'm not a Jefferson guy but man those are quite nice - as I've usually come to expect from you... ;)

My opinion is NT on all those as well, although given some of the toned coins I've seen in PCGS slabs, I wouldn't be completely shocked if some of them came back "details - questionable color" or whatever it is they say. Either way all of them look good to me and I wouldn't think twice about what the slab said when buying them.

I really despise you for tempting me with such gorgeous Jeffersons. Really nice coins there. LOVE the 38-D and 40-D.

You should do a collage like I did with the two cent coins. This will allow us to see them all in one frame or window next to each other. Very nice coins but I think seeing them all together would be even cooler than scrolling up and down. Nice set.
