    So i was rolling my change and i came across this dime its obvious that it has errors i just do not know what it actually is like double die and all that stuff sorry im not a big coin error person but anyways can someone help me the errors i saw was there was no side ridge and it doesnt look like it was just from wear and tear and the top of the B in LIBERTY is kinda gone or smashed i know the picture looks horrible but i dont have an actual camera im using my phone and on the face of the coin there is like a lip as seen in the picture this is a 1989 dime p stamped and i messured it with another dime and its slightly smaller mainly the ridges on the other dime make this image (1).jpeg image (3).jpeg image (3).jpeg image.jpeg photo.JPG sorry accidentally hit the second one twice

    Looks like post mint damage to me. No errors I know of would cause that, but putting the coin through a roller vice will. :(

    You would be surprised at the stupid things bored people do to coins.

    Yep... that's what it is. A lot of dimes "go through the dryer":

    Yes, it's become epidemic.
    Someone should start a 12 step program for all of those unfortunate dimes.

    Great work guys! I hadn' thought about a dryer, but I guess in a way its a lot like a roller vice. I will remember this.
