Hello all- I wanted to let you all know that as of right now I am working on a small fun project. I have been taking photos of all my coins and after many photos they are nearly done (except the uncleaned lots).:dead-horse:

After looking at many of the photos, most are great but some coin's beauty cannot be captured in a photo, so I have begun making quick 1 minute videos of me handling some of the favorites in my collection. I only have one test video on youtube up, but there will me quite a few more in the coming days.

You can see Ancientnoob on youtube under the username "FistfullofDenars". I hope once everything:hail: is up and running edited and pretty you guys will subscribe to my videos as many of you have to my threads. Thanks guys.

Yea a little but I'm like a tool in a toolbox ready to be used. I do a lot of hurry up and wait, and my time although plentiful, is not mine. The wife needs companionship, the son needs attention, food, and to be cleaned and my coins need to be held. I am forced to sleep multiple times a day and utilize the entire 24 hr period.
My life is almost one random event.-go Tyche

Anoob who needs sleep when your young..:)..one thing i wish some one would do,you, pronounce the names of all these coins on your youtube post's, when i talk to other Ancient collectors, these people don't know who i'm talking about..
If i can hear the sound of the name a couple of times would help me...:yes:Greek, Roman, Latin.

agreed. I worried about that when considering the idea. I didn't want to mispronounce stuff and look like a fool.

When I finally heard the name Elagabalus pronounced, I had to laugh at how I had been pronouncing it. Don't worry about the pronunciation. If you are wrong, someone will correct you. It's no big deal.

Your test looks good. I'd prefer some information too - maybe a brief narrative about the culture and the coin.

That is the danger of just reading about ancient history. I mispronounce words as welp. That is why i enjoy going to the ancient coin club.
