I see notching on a few of the letters, and since they are incuse, my opinion is mechanical doubling.
Then I think we are on the same page about how it works. But now, I do not see notching, and see what would (if inverted) be labeled VD, so I conclude DD. Mark up my pic and show me notches so I can check and maybe get a better view uploaded. Will you?
I'm seeing it mainly on the front lower leg of the K, although I think I might see it on an A or two as well.
Try this one. No matter how I look it seems to be what we would call VD had it not been incuse. Also there might be 2 layers of that shelf like stuff or even real VD on top of real DD?
Your new pictures also reveal notching on the tip of the L. I would conclude that this is MD (or "VD") as you call it, affecting an incuse design element. Keep up the hunt, they're out there.
The bulge in the neck. Why is that sort of thing a DDR rather than a die chip or die crack or gouge or what not? It doesn't seem to be 'just like' anything else right there.
Thanks, both. Regards the neck bulge, what place on the coin is that supposed to be a replicate of? And regards my coin, can someone mark up my last image and show where the disqualifying notches are. Meanwhile I'll stare at the springs for a bit.
Another thing that seems to point toward DD is that small rock pile above the AL, the right side looks notched (on a device) but I don't know if that is normal design or not. How does it show on your neck coin?
Remember, I'm not the one who A regular neck is smooth, no bumps ! heres a 2013-p (perry's victory) thats is also known as a ddo, but none have been found yet, it has a bump coming off of the ear
