1983 DDR Quarter?

    This quarter is interesting. The whole design on the reverse is outlined.
    also under the beak it looks like an S to me and at the front of the beak
    I cant make it out but there is part of the design there. I notice die wear
    but it also appears theres some doubling what do You guys think?

    It's just die deterioration.

    I agree with Mike. The doubling you are seeing is due to die deterioration.
