Now I Know what it is.

I have found a 1983 Lincoln penny that through research is classified as a Die Clash with the lincoln memorial superimposed on the lincoln bust. Any thought as to the value?

    HI,
Die clashes are a fairly common occurrence. They do have some collector value, but nothing very special.
On a Lincoln Cent, the memorial clash should show up in the field, not on the bust. This is what would have resulted in a clash. It may be possible that your coin just got crunched together with another cent on top of it and this is what you're seeing.
    Photo would help.

Is it possible for the coin to get flipped during the minting, resulting in the reverse ending up on the obverse?
