I can't find information on this coin anywhere on the internet. I don't know anything about coins so I am wondering if it is even real. Description: This coin has King Edward the 8th facing to the right and in uniform. It is of a silver, bendable metal, maybe aluminum. The back says British Made in small letters above a small crown. Underneath the crown is a ribbon that says "Ascended Throne 20th JAN.1936 ". The rest of the coin says "To commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII May 12th 1937." Does anyone have any info?

It's just what it says it is - it's a coronation medal. The govt issues them for every British King and Queen. They did marriage medals too. As for what it's worth, not much really. Depending on condition you might get anywhere from $10 - $100.
