So is this really a Contest? That can't be, it would have to be in the Contest section and therefore this thread couldn't contain everything

Yes soap and water please. But no brillo pads or anything harmful...just get the tape off of that nice "s" mint mark, which is better in that date!

 

I would suggest an acetone soak, but don't inhale too much.
