Would the small penny (cent) be anything like the coins in these threads?

What is this tiny tiny quarter?

You should be able to find your answer by reading through some of those threads if that's what you have.

Note also that CT has a keyword search function in the toolbar at the top of ever page.

As has been said MANY times before, it is absolutely necessary that you post a photo, or else no one will be able to help you. Your description is very vague.

This is exactly what happens when people forget to take the change out of their pockets when they run them through a washing machine. This is why some soap manufacturers stress using a non schrink type of soap. :smile

It's probably a non-mint product/reproduction. Does it say COPY anywhere on it?

Don't laugh, but there is actually an instrument a scientist made that will physically reduce the size of coins. For the life of me, I can't remember where I read that article, but it was interesting. The only coins he shrunk at the point of the article was silver dollars....as I recall.

    Here's something similar:

There are sets of small coins in the Littleton catalog, this looks like a coin from a mini set.
