LOL - not confused at all. He comes in, doesn't listen to the experts, buys and sells - not sure if he made any money. As long as he had fun I am all for it. And if he sticks around that is fine. All you can do is make recommendations to someone and hope they listen. If they choose not to, so be it.

And yes - it is buy the coin not the slab. At the same time it has been said - to learn first, but if you are going to buy to stick to the major tpg's. I don't have a problem with that - if it helps people get started and enjoying the hobby then that is great. Still you need to learn and understand the hobby. A lot of people just are not willing to do it, they just want to have fun - and the thought of learning is not fun. Just the way things are.

So kick back, relax, toss back a dew and enjoy the roller-coaster ride.

And this thread is one enjoyable roller coaster ride. I like watching my 15 year old logic beat out the logic of a 24 year old university student.

Ha, how much more immature can we get.

Tit for tat eh?

Thanks for revealing yourself to being the immature person you are.

Wow.

Immature in age, but mature in logical thinking and numismatic intellect.

No offense - but it is not a winable argument from either side(you or bnb). Do make the moderators separate you two.

Now go get a dew you two and go look at yorkiedad's buffalo's and enjoy the hobby - nothing really to argue about. Relaxxxx, look at some coins and have some fun. I am going to get my Dew now - the dinner of champions.

AS A MODERATOR -
Come on guys - on both sides, there have been comments and remarks made that are getting close to crossing the line.

AS A MEMBER -
Good luck - I wish you the best in whatever you do. Those that know me, know that I have taken time off from coins for about a year, and that is due to work, and trying to find another job. I still buy coins every now and then, and try to give back to the hobby. The best thing I have learned in this hobby, is how little I know.

Yes...they are, but some are unwinable - especially with opinions, then it becomes time to just let it fade away into obscurity......later. I have a Dew and some left over halloween candy to enjoy.

Nope, I love how you freely call me naive.

Alls I'm saying is I'm retiring from buying semi key/key date coins.

I wish you good luck in whatever way your collecting tastes run BNB, remember that most people get most vociferous about the same faults that they share.

As for advice it is much easier to give it than take it.
