Recently obtained this nice Hobo Nickel done on a 1913-S Type 2 Buffalo Nickel.. I grade it at VF-XF.. Anyone know who the carver/designer may have been?

You have a old original hobo nickel, each carver had his own style, tool marks, shape of nose and ear, etc. often tell us who he was, I,ll check the old known carvers and see if any match you carving.

Did'nt I see this Nickel in the Bowers and Merena Auction?
There were names associated with the coins from the carvers. It got my attention because of the recent purchase of a HoBo Nickel from an "Outstanding Carver"

Beautiful nickel! It may be difficult to find out who made it as they may not be around anymore and they may have only done a few. That said, if someone can figure out this mystery maybe Bill Zach can.
