Calling all Paper Money Collectors....Unite!!!

Hello Friends,

I have asked you all here to get a general assessment of an idea our friend Connor1 had.
Connor has began a Security Engraving Group and invited me to join in with him. I loved the idea!! So discussing this with Connor (electronically) it has been tossed around a little and some ideas have sprouted from his main concept.

Connor and I would like to ask you all to join us in learning about the engravers who so masterfully embellish the notes we all collect.

The following ideas have been suggested:

1. A weekly posting of a vignette of your choice with a general synopsis of that vignette and it's engraver.

2. Assignment for weekly contributions ( meaning who's next)

3. No Membership fees it is free to all!!

4. Your suggestions are welcomed as well.

5. Since you all are here anyway, why not take some time to learn something you may not know.

6. RickieB will not have any more contest 's about engraving..LOL

7. I may be able to get a group discount on the Book we should all have "The Engravers Line" by Gene Hessler.

Yes there are some details to work out but nothing to difficult to do..

What say you all?? We need 10-15 members.. 26 would be great that way you would only need to do 1 per year...LOL

So come on guy's what do you say??

I cannot always promise I can participate every week but I would love to join the group. I think it would be a great opportunity to learn.

Thanks guys for offering to put this together. I think it would be a great place to learn and talk about the different engravers and vignettes.

The question has been asked on what type of vignettes..well that one is simple, all vignettes! Stocks, stamps, banknotes US or Foreign..it's all good!

Come on folks...lets get this going, I know there are more of you out there.
