    I have a coin that has dei gratia 17796 carolus III on it i was wondering what the value would be of this one heres a pic

    Your photos are not good but it's a 8 reales minted in Mexico. It also has chopmarks which means it was used in Oriental trade.

    Sedwick auctions currently has a few of this coin, which is valued at $100-$150. The chopmarks can either help or hurt you, depending on who is buying.

    Be aware that there are both comtemporary and modern fakes of this coin. Here's one on eBay:

    Can't see 'em well enough to say. Do you know what the coin weighs ? If you don't have a scale, you can get it weighed at a jewelry store. We need the weight to hundreth gram, like XX.xx grams.
