The last Lincoln Cent LP4 to be.....

released on or around Nov. 4 , this coin depects Lincolns Presidency & the design will show the half finished U. S. Capital Dome. Like the first cent LP1 I'am thinking this coin will sell out fast , time will tell http://2009lincolnpennies.com/coins/...gton-dc-penny/

Where will the ceremony be for realase?
Might be able to grab ALOT of rolls if it's in DC.
Grab your limit @ the mint, union station kioisk, and the ceremony (Lincoln Memorial?)

I'm not sure what you mean by "sell out" but the mint has caught on and now makes more than enough rolls in the fancy mint wrappers to pretty much ruin any sell out/after market price increases. You can still order LP3 today.

Sure, those at the release ceremony will still reap the rewards of being the first but on a whole, the hobby has grown tired of the antics as the last release wasn't even remotely reported on to any noticable degree.

I'll be expecting to get them at my local bank, which is where I've gotten the first three.

There will be no sell-out. The mint figured out how much money they can make after LP2 and they will flood the market.

I've asked people at the mint for info. on where the release of the LP4 will be & they are not talking. Definitly got the impression they know but just will not let out that information yet. I actually talked with them this week and could not get an answer big hush hush secret.

By sell out I'am talking about the LP4 coins ordered from the mint, the two rolls from P & D mints . To me the first and last sets are the most sought after, just my opinion.

I wish I could get them from my bank but they said they order from their place, what ever that means

When you say flood the market are you including the two roll sets from the Mint

That's all I'm talking about. The LP2's sold in heavy volume due to the LP1 craze, the Mint then said LP2 was "sold out", then a week later they brought it back. LP3 and LP4 will follow the same path as LP2. They will sell until the market is saturated.

I have 5 US mint roll sets of the first 3 so I will probably get 5 US mint roll sets of this last one. I wonder if all 8 rolls from the US mint will sell well on Ebay? Any thoughts?

About $130 for the 3 http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-Lincoln-Cen...d=p3286.c0.m14

I wonder if the 4th will boost that.

If you get any more info please let us know!
I took my kiddos down to DC for the last release and they loved it.
They got honorary mint "badges" and doodads as well.
Should prove to be a great day, maybe the treasury will make a big deal and release the design for the 2010 cent at the same time?

Good question, I think until after all mint sets are sold out from the mint we'll find out rather quickly . I don't sell coins but I do know complete sets of almost anything are what folks are looking for
