That was how the Capitol Building looked when Abe was in office. It wasn't finished yet.

yeah I screwed that one up. I really think the finished capitol building makes the most sense if you are looking at carry over from the lp-4 design. I personally like the shield design myself.

Technically, Co-Op, Justndave was correct.

The coin shows the Capitol building being REBUILT. It was gutted and in ruins after the British burned it in 1814. Had the British not destroyed the original structure, it might have been completed by 1860.

Okay so my memory isnt as bad as I thought. I remember the British doing a number on DC in the war of 1812 and I thought the Capitol building was one of them. Then it was under reconstruction for quite some time thereafter. Whew glad I still actually remember my history after all.

I seriously think its going to be some design of the finished Capitol building.

LP-17 was my pick too, but things in the government haven't been going my way in the last year, so it probably won't make it.

I'm not sure what all this guessing game is about but I thought it was announced months ago that the shield design had been selected.

Pappio,

It will take you all day to hit all 3 locations. The Grant statue ceremony will be swamped, Union station, a stone throw from the ceremony, will be swamped. Your best option is the mint head quarters. Just go through the line 3 times ..and you get the same 18 rolls with much less of a hassle.
