I found this low serial at work yesterday. This now the lowest in my collection, I have about 7 other notes below 10,000.

These notes were a part of a huge strap of Red Seal 2's, that came thru the casino. I split the loot with one of the managers. Great deal for face! I ended up getting 66 notes in all. Best score yet!

Hi CoinTalk! Found this Washington in the wild. Back plate #9, reverse condition about as shabby as the front. Worth sending out to be graded for auction? Run size 320,000, printed May 2005.

 

I don't know that it's worth having graded, but a star note or low serial collector would most certainly pay a premium for it.

Searched about $500 in ones today. I found a Series 1974 JA, and a Series 1988A DE. The 1974 is my second oldest $1 circulation find (my oldest is a 1963A.)

I also found an interesting serial $1: D60077777C from Series 2009. Nothing too special, but this is the first bill I've found with five consecutive numbers, and it's pretty crispy.

Oddly enough, not a single star, though. Oh well... Next time!
