Saying goodbye to family...1937 MS birth year set

Saying good bye to a few of my favorite coins. They got sent out for my father-in-law's birthday. Only the Buffalo is just very slightly toned. Surprisingly, the Washington quarter was the hardest to obtain in something that didn't have a matte type luster.

Those are some nice looking coins! The buffalo is my favorite. I like how you included the state quarter, that's a cool idea.

Your father in law should be very happy, beautiful coins! To me it is harder to get a present for a seasoned citizen, because usually through time they have acquired so many things, Good idea birth year coins!

Indeed! A good rule of thumb for your own collection/buying fortunately realised by this SUPER awesome act of giving!

I know most people wouldn't, and those people are people who don't know much about coins, or just don't care.
If I gave a coin related gift to my mom, I don't think she would like it very much, and make that really any member of my family, except for my grandparents, I guess it would kind of be weird though, getting a gift of something you are not a part of, like coin collecting.
But all the best to you, and I hope he loves it.
