1968 Double Die Penny?

Okay.. here's the latest find of the day and it has me confused. It has doubling but it appears more like a layer of copper has been applied over the existing die. The only exception is the T in Trust which looks like it's been butchered and the R in trust looks like it was forced into place.

here's a few pics.

You will grasp it in due time just keep looking at different images of each type of doubling ,and this is just the begin it is a science.

.When you are capable of distingushing the 8 forms of hub doubling actually 9 now with the new doubled dies that are coming out a whole new classification then you covered everything in the world of doubling. Good luck it's a great challenge.
