The coin is beautiful...but it looks like you used your slab to slide furniture across a tile floor

I agree with the rest...AU, but hard to be more specific from the pics...

I take it is a weak strike so I will say AU-53.

My thought process is a little bit different than the others. I see the coin in a slab (possibly older PCGS) so lets assume it is not whizzed. That means we are seeing luster all over the coin. The luster would be broken if that were wear on the high points. Therefore, let’s assume it is weak strike & not wear. With all these assumptions, the coin in the photo might be MS63.

It’s just a guess.

Very best regards,
collect89

I'll go 64. You can polish the slab and get rid of most of that.

My eyes hurt trying to see through the scratches on the plastic. IMO, if that's wear on the eagles breast I'll go with AU 50. It's a very nice coin with great color.

I'm going to say AU55. It looks like there are some luster breaks on the high points but it could just be the lighting.

Here's what jumped out at me :
  • nice luster
  • obviously circulated
  • weak strike, particularly reverse (very little detail on the wreath veggies)
  • probably heavily lapped reverse die, based on weakness / shallow relief of ONE CENT
I'm thinkin' AU50. Maybe XF45.
