Question Canadian 1967 dime

I recently stumbled upon a 1967 Canadian dime. The reason this seems peculiar is that instead of the bluenose on the front there seems to be a picture of what is supposed to be a salmon. Any idea it's worth is it an error coin?

The fish is not a salmon but a mackerel.1967 was the centenial of Canadian Confederation and all the coins issued that year featured animals on the reverse.

Bill,I think the 1967 Canadian 10c. exist in 2 different compositions - .800 fine silver & .500 silver.To find out which one it is,look at the colour,if
the coin is a worn one,or if it is not, give it a tap on the edge of a table.

There are 2 compositions of the dime in 1967 but in my experience and according to Charlton the two are not disinguishable by eye.The same also applies to the 1967 25¢ coin.

These are relatively common, and typically are sold for 50c or so.

CCN trends shows them at bullion value until you get into the MS grades.
