My Mood: | New Purchase...Quarter Eagle
...Oh she is so purty...lol
I want to make this a little fun, so try to guess the grade!!!
I got it very close to wholesale...
I think it might be undergraded, but I want your thoughts...
And sorry I have not been on guys, I've been trying to get on for almost 2 months now, and Peter fixed the problem :-)

I'll reveal the grade to everyone in a few days...
I'm shocked, and I think everyone else will be too, of the grade of this coin...
I'll post some more pics, maybe from different angles...
Simply putting the coin under light, turning on the flash, all at the right angle, can really make a coin look great.. |

Those quarter Eagles are so hard to grade IMO. My first guess was MS60, great coin .

Everybody, it is an AU58....
Here is the seller's picture...
By simply putting in good lighting, with a great angle, the AU58 looks Mint State +++
I'd say this coin was undergraded, I'll look at it some more under magnification....
Here it is side by side with my other one... |

I'm excited about this one! | Yep.. you should be ! Looks like a winner. Lustrous.
It's all about the fields... bangs, nicks, gouges. They plague this series. Since there are no rims, they are more susceptible.

Slightest imperfection makes a 62 go 58....
Some 58's look better than 62's at first site, it takes, time, and lots of practice and patience to grade these accurately.. That is why I buy them PCGS only, but... Sometimes they get it wrong..
