Happy Easter to me from Granny!

Visited my Great-Grandma today, and she had a surprise for me! Nothing big, but she gave me a 1924 and a 1925 Lincoln cent, a 1935 Buffalo nickel, a 1957 D Lincoln cent, and 1964, 1968 and 1969 Kennedy halves, among various other coins. There were also some Sacs, Ikes, some $2 notes, more Lincolns, and a couple foreign coins (Egypt and "Nederlands" which I assume is Netherlands). Anyway, nothing big, but still a nice surprise!

Thats really cool, I wouldn't say nothing big. She probably got those while they still circulated. Priceless.

Yeah. I'll never get rid of them. She's 81, and she raised me from the time I was six months old, so she's really more like my mom. I was quite excited. I showed her some of my coins, and she was like "Oh yeah, I remember those." Granted, the ones I showed her were from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Just weird to hear someone say they remember using those to pay for things.
