Finding 2009 Lincoln Cents

I am from the San Diego area and have gotten over 60 "D"s so far... so not much trouble finding singles. No "P"s though yet! Rolls are a slightly different subject. Anyone still having any trouble finding them?

I can't find any in Michigan. I think P mintage is supposed to be the lower of the 2.

I got a P in change the other day, don't even know from where as I went to a lot of stores. I was just happy to see one in change.

I admit I took too long, due to lack of funds and just bought off eBay at increased prices tonight. With less than 100 K mintage of the first of four coins this year I think these prices will remain high and get higher over the years. The mintages are extemely low mintage numbers, and agree with Thad (he stated this in another similar post) re: supply and demand. I bought both the mint wrapped P/D and the other kind (post mint rolls).

I've been keeping an eye on my change and haven't gotten any yet. I wouldn't say I've been having trouble with it...I'm sure one will come along.

Boss -- Was just curious, are these 1'st of the 4 Lincoln cents special for 2009, that scarce ? Mintage low ?
I was wondering where you heard that ? I have not a clue ........do you know when the 2'nd series minted cent might start being minted for the year ? ....thanks for reply.
