1st coinshow, met CT'ers Fugio and silver certs

First show ever today, what an experience and glad I didn't bring alot of money. Met Stainless, Silverstruck and Borgovan and was glad I did . Hung out with Stainless and Silverstruck for awhile, then picked up a couple '57B silver certs (very weak center fold) and a Fugio . No one I asked had UHR for sale. Also saw a $400 1968? proof nickel dark violet/blue chrome look totally covering Obv. Awesome. Next time I'll have to bring my list and prices to pay. Some pics:

Are you sure the continental dollar is real? It looks to be cast. Or dug up. But I would have to go with the first of the two...

Thanks. Yeah, it was great to meet. It wasn't like meeting a stranger where you have to try and figure out what to say after awhile. I didn't take much with me, so I did good with the self restraint! My dad tried to talk me into going half on a 5lb silver medal and would cover me for my half. I think he wanted it, but didn't want my mom to kill him . Had to pull him off a bunch of times and he still bought alot more than me. Caught the fugio when trying to leave in the 1/2 off bin for 2.25 and scribbled out the replica with MS paint.( i figured it would be freaky would call me on that) Getting closer to a real one all the time.

Nice. It is a lot of fun to meet other members in person. I love to hear stories of sons keeping dads out of trouble with moms. Keep up the good work.
