2009 uhr double eagle ????

One week away !!!
I called Mint today and still no price...

I called PCGS Wednesday and they said they are working on the holders for these coins due to thickness. Also said they didn't think it would fit in the normal PCGS Blue Box. On FIRST STRIKE they said they think so. I'm sure they are both being hammered with phone calls about this coin. I'll call again Monday and hope we get better answers and a price tag !!!

I'll buy 1 just to satisfy my curiosity and just keep it in the Mint box.

I wonder if the holders will have a decent view of the edge....

If anybody has any info please reply or post your thoughts on this coin.

Thanks,
Chief

You'll always be able to get a 2009 UHR $20. They're a commodity.

But when shopping for Fugios, it might be years before you find The One that is right for you.

Congrats, FGC ! I bet you love that little Fugio.

I am excited as well!
Owning an original high relief is something out of reach for all but the most well heeled collectors, so this is a great opportunity!

There is no mintage limit so you should be fine.

OUCH! thats a pretty hefty premium over spot right now...
then again an "original" UHR double eagle will set you back many, many, MANY multiples of that

I think I have devised an evil plan for getting this coin.
I can get $5 unirculated and possibly proof gold buffalos for $150 in original mint pckg with COA.
They have been selling double that on ebay.

So I will buy a couple, keep some, and sell some for 2x profit.
