So lame.

Now, although I probably will never sell it on if i get one.

Do you see these errors increasing in value (from £100) in the future.

It's probably the only way I might shell out so much money on a modern coin that isn't even made with a precious metal.

Could get a really nice morgan for £100.

You can easily pick up a set on ebay for $3 then postage.

That's if you wouldn't mind them being circulated.

A 2008 uncirculated set in a folder from the mint costs around $15 or less.

I suggest buying an U/C set...the copper coins tend to tone quite quickly after being in circulation.

The error 20 pences have been all over the British press today...this is after the royal mint has asked all those with them to send them back, and in return the finders will get £50 ($85).

This has sent ebay prices through the roof; last month they were selling for no more than £30....now they're up to £300.

1/4 of them are starting with 'buy it nows' of £4000 ($6600), but I seriously doubt they will make that.

EDIT:
I didn't know this was the competition thread, I just searched for the shield collection thread knowing I had started one in the past and saw this one first thinking it was the main thread from the world section.
