Two newest members of the tribe...

The two newest members of the tribe. I have to wonder how the one got the RB designation. Their are a few carbon spots, but none distracting. I like the color contrast between the two coins - mark is very happy.

Excellent coins. Yeah, I agree that the RB designation is a little harsh.

Those are some nice coins. Sorry to seem ignorant, but which one were you talking about with the RB?

Pleasing coins.
The sort I'd want if I were collecting IHCs.

No problem - the 1881 is graded MS64RB. Usually on a coin this red you would see some spots of brown, in this case there are a few carbon spots but no real area of brown. Which is what surprised me when the coin came in.

The 1884 is brown all the way - a very nice brown that I like. It is graded MS64BN.

Mark should be happy. I understand why they gave the 1884 an RB, it should be a brown but there's still some red there. Wait, you didn't mean the 81 got called an RB, did you?

Because that would be WAY off the mark.
