Any of them you would submit to have specific guidelines for how to holder and package up the notes for submission. I have some that I need to submit to PCGS, they provided the sleeves and need me to number them to match what is on the order sheet. It depends on what the grading company that you will send to requires. Check the website where you are going to submit to see if they provide any guidelines. Smaugy.
it is going to pcgs but they did not send me any sleeves just the forms, and a booklet, when i called customer service she said a sleeve, bubble wrap ect but then i asked do i mail in a envelope a box or what and she said whatever i feel comfortable mailing it in. maybe with the the silver membership you get less stuff in the packet? oh well between the form the shipping calculations and wondering if its packaged properly I am pulling my hair out!
Just be sure whatever you package it up in to send it, that the package won't bend or get folded. If you use a mailer, add cardboard to keep the mailer stiff to keep the bills from getting folded or damaged. Smaugy
just a liitle more help please I believe the packaging problem is solved but since i have no prior experience in sending anything off for grading Iwould like to know step by step what the experienced would do? I believe i have the friedberg number correct 1917f but am not sure of what to put in the "type" box and also what to put in the "variety" box and also do i list both serial numbers in the serial number box?also since i do not actually know what the note is worth what to put in the declared value box?thanks again for any help you can give.
Type box - Web Note ? variety box - Mis-matched serial? i would list both serials in that box yes as for value, you got a few estimates if i remember correctly (wasnt one for like $5000 or so) i would put one of those estimates in. Keep in mind, i think the more valuable the item is, the more fee you pay? Im not sure, since i never submitted anything... maybe one who has will know better about that.
