In honor of Christmas, we here at CoinTalk are holding a special Contest.

Here is how it will work:

The winner must correctly answer all three questions. Answers must be sent in a private message to any of the moderators . The decisions of the moderators are final. The first two members with the correct answers to all three questions will win prizes. The first member to correctly answer the three questions will receive the option of a 1 Year membership to the ANA or a random coin from each of the moderators. The second member to answer all three questions will receive the prize not chosen by the first.

Any questions about the contest should be sent in a PM to any of the moderators.

Remember: All three questions must be answered correctly. All answers must be sent to one of the moderators.

Questions.

1. What world coin has a distinctive characteristic (name characteristic) that is made necessary by its traditional method of production, and within 100 years, for how long was it produced?

2. The first U.S. Mint was located on what street(s) and taking over what existing building? (must give name of building)

3. What coins if any, struck for circulation by the US Mint,
have been issued, and in what years, without the word Liberty on them?


Prize numer 1. One year membership to the ANA

Prize numer 2. A random coin from each of the moderators.

First member who answers correctly chooses prize. The second member receives other prize.

This contest will run until two members have correctly answered all 3 questions. The answers have been determined by all the moderators, and the decision of the winner and prizes are determined by the moderators. Winners names and prizes will be announced once the contest ends.
