Cool Little Trinket....

I bought this off of Ebay.
I thought many of you might enjoy it and the story behind it.

RBeast,

That is pretty cool, I wonder if it's radioactive, LOL. Here are a couple of encased coins I've got.

Take Care
Ben

Those are some nice ones there, Bone !
I should have guessed one would have something to do with whiskey.

C'mon Rickie, I'm sure you know what the half-life is on that.

Damn straight !
I'm glad you reminded me of that.
I completely forgot about those.
I do have some items that were on a space shuttle.

BQ....
Do you have any info on those Mercs ?
I remember hearing of them, but I can't find any info.
Thanks !

Nice !

I tried to get a Merc.
I'll still probably try to get one.

Nice, I remember getting one (in a different holder) from the 1964 World's Fair in NY.

Roto,

Those have been directly linked to "Incredible Shrinking Man" disease.
Always wear protective clothing when handling them!

I actually have one of those and I have no clue where I got it. I found it in a box of stuff I had as a kid so maybe someone gave it to me when I was a kid. I think it's from the 50s because it's a Roosy and not a Merc but now I know what it is. Thanks for posting it.

Dang, I carried it in my front pocket for a week.
No wonder my GF has been giving me dirty looks lately.
