Where do the sophisticated buyers buy?

I'm not sure if this question is even allowed, so bear with me moderators. What I was wondering was, where do you buy your coins online? As stated in another thread, my town has one dealer with no competition for miles. Hence, I do a lot of my buying online. I deal with one guy mostly, who's got decent prices and great service. But, are you allowed to name your favorite online/mailorder dealers? I want to get an idea of where the more experienced folks shop, and I want to keep my guy honest. Thanks.

Getting pricey these days though but I've bought from them in the past and been very satisfied.

Good point Leadfoot. I'm joining the Unsophisticated Leadfoot club.

Let me know when it's time to pay my yearly dues.

LOL...sign me up too.

Although they sell from their store and online I've found L&C Coins very reasonable.

I also like to buy from The Reeded Edge.

JJ Teaparty...Ever been to there store. You have to ring a bell to get in, and then they only let one customer in at a time in. Inside it looks like a junk shop. There good stuff is not in the store or atleast in front.

Back in the 50's & 60's I bought my coins at Stack's on 57th st in NYC. I can't afford them anymore. When I bought there, they were the best in the country by far. Back in the 50's I had a charge account with them. They would mail me coins, and I would sometimes buy one or two, and send back the rest

Everybody has mentioned dealers I look at except these two - www.vtcoins.com, http://www.harlanjberk.com/unitedstatesco/cnus.asp. Yeah I know of few of you all do not like Harlan, but I have had good success with the coins they offer, real nice customer support. And there are probably some specialty dealers too if you are interested in certain things - like large cents. I like to browse all of them and look for the best prices.

Count me in the unsophisticated Leadfoot club. I do buy my coins from www.coinbug.com, and the open forum here. Haven't bought from these places yet, but some good places IMHO:

www.reedededge.com
www.grcoins.com
www.cheapslabs.com
