I'd keep it and if you ever come across a better one you can upgrade. I have an 1899 $5 Silver Certificate that is being held together by tape. Not the prettiest I've seen. However, the price was right and it is the only one I've seen in the local coin shop. So I'm happy I grabbed it when I did.

my 1896 bison note has some tape on it, also has a small hole from the car fire it was caught in (if you belive the guy who sold it lol) But like Pirata72, its what i could afford, and i really wanted an example for my colection .. so ....
