Do you guys generally see many toned Eisenhower dollars ever? I pulled out the 1976 3 coin 40% silver proof set that an uncle gave me and noticed that the plastic holder for the Eisenhower was cracked and not airtight, and the coin has a pretty cool blue and purple tone on it.

So I'm just curios if Eisenhower dollars are found toned very often.

Yeah they are, some of them are quite beautiful.

Very often, no, from time-to-time, yes.

The silver issues are found toned more often than the clad issues.

Most often, the soure of the toning is albums or envelopes.

I see a lot of hazy blue ones, and a lot of gold toned ones too. I'm sure they're out there but they are a little tougher to come by at least in my opinion.
