LinkBack Thread Tools Rate Thread Display Modes 10-26-2007, 01:46 AM   #1 (permalink) monkeyman Coin Hoarder     Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: The wild wild west Posts: 557 New British War Medal My dad picked me this one up in india British War Medal 1914-1919 The medal was commemerated durring ww I for English soldiers, and later extended to include service in North and South Russia, Eastern Baltic, Siberia, the Black Sea and the Caspian. 36 mm diameter- Silver What do you guys think? Also, there is info written on the edge of the medal, I know it somehow means the recipeiants name, unit number ect. But could anyone tell me exactly what all these words and numbers mean Written on the edge: 952 NK.
