walking liberty error

Ok!! First thing is i'd like to say hello to everyone. I am new at this and hope i do this right LOL

For some time now I have been to find someone that can tell me what kind of error this is. you can se around most of the lettering.

I thank ya'll for any help at all

Open "File" > "Save as" > under format "JPG"

It might be a die crack

The coin just looks like a 'striped' tone coin.

The pic is not quite close enough, but I think I can see a die crack running through some of the letters also.

Welcome. That coins stripes are what is usualy found on coins that were in an folder type album for a long time. The line you see through the lettering is either a die crack or possilby even a post Mint damage. Photo is not clear enough. Could you attempt to photo just those letters?
