does anyone know what the name of the acid is that makes it work?

Hey, don't knock my mohawk nickels, lol, I make them at work when bored.
I have a cpl rolls of dateless buffalos I bought on ebay I plan on nic-a-dating just out of curiosity. Then I will mohawk them. You'll see them on Ebay soon enough.

How did the vinegar experiment work for bringing out the date?
I'm thinking about attempting a little experiment myself...

ive used vinegar too, it works pretty well. But sometimes takes a LOONNNG time. I prefer nic a date
