It is not exactly a contest unless you count the ego building as a prize. Here are the rules; This is a rolling average of the last 50 rounds. You must have 20 round to be included. At round 20 (of the latest 50), your highest score is dropped from your average and your second highest score is dropped when you exceed 30. The only purpose of these is to help people learn grading and to have fun.
I did not catch it in time and no one asked about it, but the think in front of the chin is dust or similar because it is not there now. This one really had BOOMING luster, great strike and nearly nick free. I finally found one nick by the first U in UNUM. Everything else you see is die scratches, die cracks (one through each wheat), or other. For instance, that line between the E and N is raised. I don't know about that spot, but as nice as the rest of the coin is and as unobvious as it is in hand, it would not surprise me if at least some was not there at grading. Regardless, PCGS gave it a 67. Even with the spot, I would have to agree.
pumpkinpie moved into fifth, but he will not be here much longer if he does not start playing again. ReaperRuler has joined the top ten, but Irish2Ice is way in the lead again.
