Restoring Buffalos

    I read somewhere you can use vinegar to restore Buffalos. I gave it a try and results were unexpected. This morning they were coming along fine, and by after work tonight this is what I got.


    DSC01384.jpg 3 days in vinegar gave me this. They is almost no detail left on coins.

    HOLY COW!!!!!! Those are weird coins, sure they weren't fakes?

    Im sure. I dont think there is much money in fake dateless buffalo nickels

    never had that happen, and i've left some in white vinegar for several weeks...

    maby two to four days. there was only one.

    What was the acidity of the vinegar and what kind of vinegar was it?

    white vinegar 5% acidity

    I think fire is the only way to kill whatever is on them. Do it before you destroy mankind with your super-virus.
