Just a silly auction that brought a smile to my face... and a visual reason to crop the "crumbs" out of your photos. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-Coin-/181052961169?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2a2798f191
Seller claims it's a 'D' mint mark but I ain't seein' it. Must have wiped it away when he cleaned up some of the crumbs for the reverse photo.........
That upside down Kennedy half is pretty sweet though and I may put a bid for that 1952 Franklin he has on there, at $300 that's a steal!
Are you sure this one isn't more humorous, at least price wise? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1944-Silver...68?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2a27968540
I had to send this person a quick note to enlighten them that they're either uneducated in their starting bid prices or obviously point out to them there aren't that many suckers out there. I'll let you guys know if I get a reply.
They responded with "Make me an offer on the coin!" My response to that was, "USPS Priority shipping costs more than that coin is worth. I won't make an offer on something I can pick up in the junk silver bin at my local shop for $5.00 a pop!"
That photo makes me cringe. He has 0 feedback and any item photographed next to hairs, pubic or otherwise I am not interested in. I bought a comforter from Ebay once and it reeked like smoke. At the time i was a heavy smoker and it even grossed me out. Now I pay more attention.
