Nice strike although the dies were getting a bit worn particularly the obverse. There are few marks and the luster is at least respectable. I probably could have a 66 back in its day, but the color and those spots keep it well below. NGC settled on a 64. I would agree, but might be tempted to put a plus if those spots were not so bad (a possibility when it was graded).
Dang I knew I should have went with 64 , I bet that the spots weren't there when graded , I gotta quite giving the benifit of doubt to NGC .
Thad , your on a nice run congrats . A lot of people been missing the last few weeks , but we picked up a few too .
But we are net down lately. I don't know if it is they have been too easy or what, but I have a couple real wimg-dingers for you in the next couple weeks. Picked up a couple in Dallas and just won one on eBay. Good luck!
I need some more easy ones . Heck I missed 2 easy ones , If I gave the grade I said in my post I would have been right . Then instead of giving the 67 I thought last weeks deserved , I read Mikes post about the spots and voted 66 . lol
